Privacy Policy
Applies to the Zicket corporate website at https://zicket.io (the “Site”). Last updated: 23 September 2026.
This policy explains how we handle information collected from visitors to, and business enquirers on, this Site. This Site is our corporate and marketing website: it provides information about our products and services and lets you get in touch or request to get started with Zicket.
Buying tickets? This Site is not our ticket-purchasing platform. If you buy or sell tickets, that takes place on https://www.zicket.co and is governed by the separate zicket.co privacy policy. This policy does not cover ticket-purchase, member-account or payment data collected on zicket.co.
Personal Information Collection Statement
- The personal data you provide through this Site is used to respond to your enquiry, to tell you about our products and services, to manage our relationship with you as a prospective or existing business client, and to operate and improve the Site.
- Providing your data is voluntary, but if you do not provide the information requested in an enquiry or sign-up form we may be unable to respond to you or to progress your request.
- We will only use your contact details to send you marketing about our products, services, news and offers where you have consented or otherwise indicated no objection. You can opt out at any time (see “Your rights” below).
- You have the right to request access to, and correction of, the personal data we hold about you. To do so, contact our Data Protection Officer at help@zicket.co. We may charge a reasonable fee for processing a data access request as permitted by law.
Who we are
In this policy, “Zicket”, “we”, “us” or “our” refers to The Ticket Company Ltd trading as Zicket (Business Registration No. 2597142), of Suite 22A, 22nd Floor, 33 Des Voeux Road West, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong. We are the data user (controller) responsible for the personal data collected through this Site.
What information we collect
We collect the following through this Site:
- Enquiry & sign-up data — information you give us when you complete a contact form, request a demo, use “Get Zicket”, or otherwise contact us: for example your name, business email, phone number, company/organisation, role and the contents of your message.
- Marketing preferences — the email address and preferences you give us when you sign up for our newsletter or updates.
- Technical & usage data — information about your device and visit, such as IP address, browser type, operating system, referring pages, the pages you view and how you interact with them, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see “Cookies” below).
We do not collect payment card details or ticket-purchase information through this Site. We do not knowingly collect sensitive or special-category data (such as data about health, race, religion, or political views), and we ask that you do not send us such data through the Site.
How we use your information
We use your information only where the law allows, in particular to:
- respond to your enquiry and provide the information or follow-up you have requested;
- manage our relationship with you as a prospective or existing business client, including arranging demos, quotes or onboarding under a separate services agreement;
- send you marketing communications about our products, services, news and offers, where you have consented or not objected;
- operate, maintain, secure and improve the Site and understand how it is used; and
- comply with our legal and regulatory obligations and protect our legal rights.
We rely on your consent (or indication of no objection) for direct marketing, on our legitimate business interests for responding to enquiries and improving the Site, and on legal obligation where applicable. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out.
Direct marketing
In line with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486), we will not use your personal data in direct marketing without your consent or indication of no objection. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time by using that link or by contacting us at help@zicket.co. Opting out of marketing does not stop us sending you necessary messages, such as a reply to your enquiry.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, and measure and improve performance. These include strictly necessary cookies (required for the Site to work), analytics/performance cookies (to understand how the Site is used), and functionality cookies. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings; if you do, some parts of the Site may not function properly.
How we share information
We share personal data only as needed to run this Site and our business:
- with service providers who help us operate the Site and our marketing — for example website hosting, analytics, email delivery and customer-relationship-management providers — who may process data only on our instructions and under confidentiality and security obligations;
- with government, regulators or law-enforcement authorities where required by law; and
- with a third party in connection with a merger, acquisition or business transfer, in which case we will take steps to ensure your data remains protected.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing without your consent.
How we store and protect information
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption of data in transit, access on a need-to-know basis, and regular review of our practices. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed fully secure, but we work to protect the information you provide. We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above and to meet legal, accounting or reporting requirements, after which we delete or anonymise it.
International transfers
We and our service providers may process and store information outside Hong Kong. Where we transfer personal data across borders, we take steps to ensure it remains protected to a standard consistent with this policy and applicable law.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to be informed about how we use your data, to request access to and correction of it, to object to or restrict certain processing (including direct marketing), and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. To exercise any of these rights, contact our Data Protection Officer at help@zicket.co. We will respond within the period required by law (normally one month). We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time by posting the revised version on this Site. Changes take effect when posted, and your continued use of the Site means you accept the updated policy.
